Hawe Telekom and IS-Wireless enter into an agreement to build 5G private networks together
Telecommunications companies – Hawe Telekom and IS-Wireless – have signed an agreement under which they will work on a comprehensive offer for customers looking to set up private 5G networks. They will provide their deployment-ready solution in Europe.
In their agreement, companies declare cooperation and development of a solution based on independent elements provided by each party. 5G network components supplied by IS-Wireless, including RAN, Core and MANO will be integrated with infrastructure by Hawe Telekom. As a result, there will be an offer of a complete, private 5G network solution, operating in the open model (Open RAN), which is characterized by high security, flexibility, and lower TCO. The product can be tailored to the individual needs of each customer, looking to create private mobile networks in settings such as factories, campuses, or urban centers.
Hawe Telekom provides unique, comprehensive telecommunications services for other operators, and its customers include domestic and international operators. The company offers lease and sale of cables and optical fibers, data transmission based on its DWDM system, access to the Internet, as well as telecommunications network servicing. The company will support IS-Wireless with extensive knowledge and experience. – Hawe Telekom’s partnership with IS-Wireless naturally stems from their business strategies. Our goal is to jointly develop an ecosystem of innovation with components based on 5G open network technologies and edge computing supervised by predictive models. I am convinced that the technology we propose will accelerate the implementation of the open 5G environment in the industry and other sectors of the economy – emphasizes Barbara Ożóg, Business Development Director at Hawe Telekom.
IS-Wireless develops and delivers 4G and 5G mobile networks in an open model (Open RAN), which is getting traction globally.
