Strategic partnership between Telkom University and IS-Wireless

IS-Wireless, a European deep tech company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Telkom University, one of Indonesia’s premier academic institutions. The collaboration was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), highlighting a shared commitment to advancing Liquid RAN™—an open, AI-powered, and disaggregated radio access network architecture.

This partnership will span Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region, bringing together academia, industry, and government stakeholders to accelerate innovation and support the deployment of next-generation network technologies.

With Telkom University’s strong relationships with major mobile network operators such as PT. Indosat Tbk and Telkomsel, the partnership will focus on:

• Joint research initiatives and Liquid RAN™ pilot deployments in collaboration with regional MNOs
• Development of tailored training programs that bridge academic knowledge with industry demands
• Implementation of private 5G networks for Industry 4.0, mission-critical applications, and campus environments

Together, IS-Wireless and Telkom University aim to deliver scalable and intelligent telecom solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute to a smarter, more connected future.
