“5G: cost or saving?” presentation by IS-Wireless during PLNOG conference in Warsaw! 5G […]

Date:

Mar 5, 2019

5G is typically associated with heavy investments needed to meet the ambitious quality targets. We will be defending the statement that 5G (or more generally cellular infrastructure for the coming mobile revolution) may lead to significant cost savings in network deployment and maintenance.

In our presentation, Robert and Aleksandra will answer the following questions:
– What is the structure of CAPEX and OPEX of RAN deployemnt?
– Which network architectures have the potential to lower TCO?
– What is the influence of RAN virtualization on the cost structure?

You are cordially invited to attend the talk on the 12th March 2019 during PLNOG conference in Warsaw. More info (in Polish) at: https://plnog.pl/2019-2/warszawa/lecture/#id=51470
